Tyler & Abigail: Engaged

I had a distinct vision for where I wanted to shoot Tyler and my engagement photos. This tiny island is near and dear to my heart, I can hardly remember a summer without it. Having Tyler there for the week was a dream come true and I am so thankful for these memories. It was wonderful to see just how much he has really become a part of our family. There were so many moments that I wanted to burst with joy and I just can't wait for June 3rd!

My dear sister and her best friend woke up for a sunrise shoot with us (we're talking 5am). They were ever so patient with me and the perfectionist I am as I set up the fps, aperture, angles etc. for each shot. I would hop back into frame (super gracefully) and they would click away. I seriously love engagement shoots, so getting to be involved in the creative aspects of our engagement shoot was a dream come true.

I never thought taking my own engagement photos would be possible, but these lovely people made it all possible. Talk about going above and beyond her maid of honor duties, my sister is the absolute best. It was a morning I will never forget and am so thankful for.
