NYC Washington Square & Pier 40 Engagement
Jesse and Amy are some of the most pleasant people I have ever spent a morning with. Though the wind was crazy and it was beyond chilly towards the end, these two kept the cute moments and smiles coming throughout the shoot. Their love is so evident and it was so wonderful getting to capture them in the place they met and spent years together! They now live in the amazing city of Boston, in fact this shoot almost didn't happen due to a crazy snowstorm friday night. All flights and trains were cancelled and just when we thought it was impossible, they rented a car and began the trek to NYC. Honestly these two would look beautiful anywhere, but it was so special to have them take us around "their" spots. Washington Square Park was equally as stunning as it was quaint with the gorgeous arch, sweet benches and surrounding NYU buildings. Pier 40 was where the cold caught up with us but oh wow those views! This shoot was such a privilege and it gave me a whole new appreciation for NYC beyond the famed times square. I just love these guys so much and can't wait for their beautiful June wedding at the Cricket Club!
